Do you want to partner up? I will be in Novi on the 16th and 17th of this month for business so we could meet up to work out the details if you wish.

Let me discuss it with my DP, but I think that may be doable.

Mrs. Yensid and I are signed up for the 5K! The downside is that we won't be able to stay for all of the race weekend, but will be down the week prior for our anniversary! It's the first Disney race for both of us. We've done a couple local 5Ks and will do a few more by the end of the year. We haven't told our daughter about the trip yet, so it will be a nice surprise for her when we tell her she's going to WDW for New Years!

I signed up for the 15th anniversary Donald when I was at the Disneyland Half. Going to sign up for the Inaugural Chip & Dale at the Expo later this week!

How's training going for everyone??

I'm registered for the Half Marathon. It will be my first race. Ever! Lol nervous as heck but also mostly excited. I turned 40 last January and vowed to run a half-marathon within a year. Now its less than 2.5 months away, so its getting real!

Does anyone else look forward to long, Sunday morning runs? I live in South Florida so we got nothing but flat surfaces, and thankfully the weather here has been agreeable. I did 8.75 miles last Sunday, my time wasnt the greatest but im in it to finish.

Does anyone else run while listening to Lou's audio guides? Most enjoyable way to hit the pavement!

Also: does Disney allow you to use headphones during the race?

Yes you can use headphones during the race. I use my iTouch to get me through!!

Did my 9.6 long run last Saturday, conditioning runs during the week. My goal is to finish at just under 2.5 hours. Actually, my goal is just to finish at this point LOL...

Does anyone do the Platinum Package/ChEAR thingy? Is it worth it?

In case anyone's interested, I ran on Saturday and had an PHENOMENAL time! That was easily one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences of my life. For my first run, I finished with my goal time of under 2.5 hours (2:25:03 to be exact), and even got to shake hands with Lou as I entered Epcot during the last half mile or so.

I'm running my second Half in 3 weeks (ING Miami). I so want to keep this momentum going!
