2013 Marathon Training Group - Denver

Hey Guys!
I'm looking to put together some sort of training group for the 2013 WDW marathon. I know this is way in advance, but I haven't run a step since I was a kid. I also wanted an excuse to meet other Disney fans in the area. I found a good training plan online and it has me set to do my "long" runs on Saturdays. Maybe we could meet up and train together on those long runs to make them seem not so long. Let me know if your interested!

A good friend from back home and I have a crazy idea to run the 2013 1/2 marathon (yea, I'll pass on the full). Sounds like a great idea since I probably should start some training soon...except I live no where near Denver! (I actually do have a relative who lives just outside of Denver, though.) Good luck, though...it'll be interesting to see if my friend and I actually go through with this crazy idea.

I too live in south Denver and want to do the WDW 2013 marathon. I've done this race before and really liked the course and the atmosphere. I would love to have some company on those loooooooong runs!

I'm in Broomfield and I'd love to join you...but I'm not a real runner! I've be mostly walking my way through training, and definitely not running - I somehow manage to run the everest 5K with my sister goading me on, but can't even run a mile here in CO. Wish I could help out, since I seem to be the only one even close to you!
