That stinks they are no longer granting wishes but we all know you will send a kid to Disney with the money!

Right now, our primary concern is making sure we have an appropriate place to donate the auction money to. Then we will be looking at the Dream Team's function in general. Obviously, this change by Starlight Starbright is a big disappointment to us, but we're doing everything we can to ensure the Dream Team continues its mission. :lousings: It's all the same, only the names have changed.
Have you thought about Children's Miracle Network? Does Disney have any type of charity?
Children's Miracle Network does not seem to have a wish-granting program. Disney Hand is the organization that Disney has set up to raise money within the company for distribution to other charities, but they do not seem to have anything that outsiders can donate to.
Make-A-Wish???

I received a thank you card as well. Very very nice. Totally unnecessary, but so very sweet. It really is an honor to be a part of something so wonderful, even if only in a small way. I merely donated a gift that I had received a duplicate of...barely worthy of a thank you. The auction prices were too steep for me - even tho I planned better this year - they still got out of my reach (yes, I'm already budgeting for next year!). I guess its hard to complain when they bring in that kind of cash!!
Anyway - yes, to the dream team - you not only went above and beyond AGAIN at the auction - you've shined once again with the very classy move of sending thank you cards.
Kudos to you all.
