Keep up the great work Pat!
Looking forward to helping out!![]()
First, the good news:
DisneyWorldTrivia.com is pleased to announce that the Dream Team Project Auction will be returning to Fred Block's Magic Meets Disney Fan Gathering, on July 19, 2008 at Camp Hill, PA.
Last year, this auction raised $9,000 for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of America! And this year is already shaping up to be even better!!
I'll be posting very soon about ways you can help us brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
But, it has been brought to my attention that some emails that have been sent to me have not reached me. If you have sent me an email at Pat@disneyworldtrivia.com regarding the auction and I have not replied, I apologize, and I have not received your message. Please contact me here via Private Message if you haven't heard from me in 24 hours.
Again, sorry for any inconvenience.
Stay tuned for more information on the auction!!
Thank you!

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
Pat and her team have already been working hard behind the scenes since... well... since the day after LAST year's Magic Meets, and I can't thank all of you enough for all of your help. I'm looking forward to the fun and excitement (yes, Pat, I'll leave out "stress") of this year's auction, seeing the great donations, and of course, seeing all of you there!!!

I don't think I could ever imagine the time and effort that goes into planning this one event. Plus the additional pressure of the raising of the bar each year to raise more money for the kids
I'll have some donations definitely! However, I won't be there at Magic Meets this year so probably no meet for me! Unless an attendee helps me out! :-)

As someone who is new to both these forums and MouseMeets, I don't know much about the auction. Can someone tell me a little more about it? What kind of donations are accepted? Is there a list of auctioned items from last year?
Thanks so much for any help!
Anna

Here is a link (http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/Dre...m-Project.html) to the page that has all the info on the Dream Team Project. We raise money to go to the Make-a-wish foundation. To date we have raised about $17,400. (this includes last year's auction)
Here is what we auctioned off last year...

If you have an item in mind that you would like to donate please contact disneydame2004 (pat@disneyworldtrivia.com) and she can help you out!
Welcome to DWT!
LOL Pat...Great minds!
Actually, we've raised much more than that $17,400 for seriously ill children. That's just how much has gone to Make-A-Wish. There was enough raised before that to send 3 children to WDW through the Starlight Starbright Foundation.
