What an amazing weekend! Did anyone see me on the webcast? I had all intentions of sitting down and chatting with Mike Newell but never got the right chance to do so until the end when it was pretty much over.

I don't even want to say for how much but it was a fun bidding war between myself and Len Testa. So listen for me to be the co-host for a day someday.

Yes I saw you! The speakers need to wear dark colors against the white screen OR the video cam needs to be moved closer to the front. It was still a great way to be a part of the meet without actually being there. Congratulations on "winning" Lou. I hope he tosses in a meal since you probably won't be eating much over the next year.

WOW!

What a weekend!

I'm exhausted (and still awake.... not a good combination) but I wanted to get a quick post up saying thank you for all your support through the past weeks and months. Here's the rough breakdown:

Celebrity MagicTunes (game played on Friday night, $5 donation at door split between Dream Team Project and Deb Wills Avon Walk for Breast Cancer): $325.

Buttons, Magic Wands, and onsite cash donations: over $800.

Tim Devine's The Magic in Pixels percentage of sales/post cards & magnets: $400.

Online donations encouraged by WDW Today Podcast: over $1600.

Auction itself: over $13,000.

Combined all of the above: Over $16,500.

Donation from MEI & Mouse Fan Travel: $2523.76
(if you read this earlier, my apologies, MEI & Mouse Fan Travel is the correct agency name. My mistake and my apologies!)

and then Lou donated the balance to round it up to $20,000

All for Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America. What an amazing display of Disney magic!

Congratulations to Pat, the whole Dream Team, the sponsors and everyone else who made this happen. My favorite part of this year MagicMeets was being in the room when the grand total was announced and to feel the ‘Disney Magic’ take over the room. I was overcome with emotion thinking about the all the hard work that went into this auction and how families will be blessed by it all. Thank you all for your selflessness and your passion to help others.
