100% for 100 Shows

As you may have heard on this week's podcast, The WDW Radio Show is closing in on its 100th episode! :mousetune

Instead of making this a personal celebration, Lou has asked all his listeners to do something special: Help the Dream Team Project reach 100% of its current fundraising goal.

The Dream Team Project has done an incredible job of raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America - over $41,000 to date. We've raised the bar several times on our Firstgiving page, and our current goal is $45,000.

There are 6 more episodes before #100, and even though we know this is a difficult economy and the holiday season, we're asking for your help to make the wishes of seriously ill children come true.

Even if you can only give $1.00, it will make a difference. If you can give more, that's even better, but it is everybody working as a team that lets The Dream Team Project make magic happen.

Lou and family and I and my family were actually out to dinner together when both our phones went off at the same time - text messages telling us to look at the firstgiving site.
Let me tell you, we were never happier to have our meal interrupted by the phone :) Yes, we both needed tissues, and a glass was raised to everyone who helped make this come true. :cheers2:

Then we had to stop our kids from stabbing each other with chopsticks :sw1:

I know for a fact that there were several people waiting in the wings to see if we needed that last bit to go over the top. And I am so proud of Tracy, Lori, and all the runners who have been raising money with their marathon efforts.

That's why The Dream TEAM Project is such a perfect name for this group!
Don't worry, we'll be raising the bar again soon ;) There's no shortage of wishes out there.

Thank you all SO very much from the bottom of my heart. What you have all done means so much to me, but more importantly, will make a real difference in the lives of children and their families NOW!

From Pat, Lori, Tracy, April, Val, and all the volunteers (too many to mention here, but I love you all!!), everyone who donated, who gave to the auction in so many ways, and who have just supported our efforts in so many ways, I am forever grateful to you.

And as Pat said, we are all part of this Dream Team, and you should all be extremely proud of what YOU have done!!!!

I keep hoping that I'll have more money coming in for the 1/2.
