All I can say is WOW. I went away for 2.5 days and there are pages and pages of stuff to read and look at! Very cool stuff. Stitch - I'm going to check out that scrapper forum, thanks for pointing it out - I didn't know we had one. Everyone else who said something in my directions...Mini-V, Jo, Debbie...hello to you all! I do indeed hope that those of us who make it to PA do manage to meet and snap some photos and start planning for next year like DisneyDame is doing already! I am so excited. I going to budget my auction items into my "trip" budget in December....that way no one really will know where it went, lol!

I'm arriving, probably very late on Friday, and it is my intention to buy the bright yellow lanyard (first thing Saturday morning) in hopes of you people approaching me with an extended paw to shake. FIND ME!! I have fairly-long red hair, and I'm pretty heavy, and I wear glasses...someone find me!!

I am really looking forward to this trip. See you all there!!

Pat - Will this be happening again next year? When I was packing for moving, I found all kinds of things that I would have wanted to donate. I used to work at a movie theatre and I have more Disney movie memorabilia (sp?) then I can handle. I would love to donate some for next year.

Also - would there be anyway that we could do an online auction sometime to help the cause. I am sure you all will raise enough money at the meet, but it would be a great way to get all of those who can't make it involved. I mean some of this stuff is just phenomenal and I am so upset that I can't be there.

The idea of an online auction is something that we've been thinking about, for exactly your reason: getting everyone involved! This one at the meet kind of snowballed on us, not that I'm complaining, and I do know some people are disappointed they can't attend. Also, space limitations are making it challenging this year, some of what happens next year will depend on where the meet is held and how much room Fred can spare for us.


As for movie memorabilia, can that just be donated to my house? j/k

Love everyone's optimism for "Next Year" - I'm still hoping to survive this one And April thinks I still have hair?

OK Debbie LOL We'll look for the couple in the Disney garb! I was going to say the same thing then I read your posted and laughed when Tammi mentioned that! So Debbie after reading this forum I now know you'll be there between 6 & 7pm so maybe we'll run into you Friday night! Perhaps we should all just upload pics of ourselves so it'll be easier to ID us LOL I do like the idea of getting the bright yellow DWT lanyard however! Good idea! I really love it all too, but I worked there for 6 years and it piled up so quickly because I wanted EVERYTHING! Even stuff that was not Disney, in reality I realized when am I ever going to hang all these posters and where will I put all this stuff! Lol, I will be glad to donate some things if we ever do an auctions again. Thanks for the reply, I will look forward to it.

You can always do online auction through Ebay. I'm not sure if there are special rules and fess for charities or not. Just a thought!

I'll be there with my Tigger gear on. Just look for the ears. I designed a shirt for this weekend. I just need to iron it and pray I don't ruin it. And I went to the bank to get my $$ for the auction. So many nice things I may have to decide if I want to eat this weekend or give to a good cause.

Oh I like the Chef Mickey pics we both have LOL Isn't that place awesome?! We HAVE to go there every visit to WDW, just love it!
