We’re enjoying the new Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie and Monsieur Paul, the re-imagined upstairs restaurant at the France Pavilion at Epcot. But there’s more: look for the new L’Artisan des Glaces, Artisan Ice Cream & Sorbet to open by mid-June in the pavilion’s former bakery space.
This delightful little shop will offer 16 different flavors – 10 ice creams and six sorbets are on the menu (still a work in progress). “Everything will be made in-house with the simplest, fresh ingredients – milk, sugar, cream, eggs and fruit,” says general manager Eric Weistroffer.
The frozen treats will be available by the scoop in cups or cones – and for grown-ups, there’s the option of adding liqueurs, says Weistroffer.

Hi. I'm very new to the boards and I'm still trying to figure out my way around so I hope I'm posting this in the correct spot. Our next trip is coming up in May (yay!) and we have the dining plan. I have an onion and garlic intolerence and I've heard Disney works with guests that have food allergies. I love to try new foods and really would prefer to not eat super bland chicken nuggets the entire trip. Anyone know how this works? Do they just have a select menu to choose from?

I'm old enough to remember Disney's similar stab with their Handwich late 80's into the early 90's sold at stand under Astro and the original Sunshine in the Land/Epcot. Handwich was supposed to be able to be eaten on the go, but it tended to leak, filling topple out and filling gone after the top half eaten. Wonder if Conewich overcame the need for a fork? There is also another firm marketing something similar, CrispyCone at other parks.

Hey guys. I'm a senior in my band and currently dating someone who's in it too. Our band is taking a trip to Disney for two days. One day we play and the other is for us to enjoy. On that second day, I want to take my girlfriend to a nice restaurant for lunch. I want it to be semi romantic but I also can't spend a lot. Does anyone have any suggestions? It doesn't have to be in a park. Resorts are fine. Thanks!
