My in laws live in kissimee and they said the weather there was awful!!!!! Hope it got better for all of you floridians soon!
I found out that there were to tornados in Florida but they were next to the beach.I was wondering if that Loud Bang I heard before the tornados might have been part of it.
And there was a Christmas Miracle in it too. No one died or got seriusly hurt. What a surprise - and it distroyed lots of houses.

I kinda liked the rainy weather! LOL!
I live on the beach, it was really nasty and windy.
But by 4:00 we were boating
Mark,
Stayed at:
Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness Cabins (and in a tent once YUCK),Animal Kingdom Lodge, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Caribbean, Port Orleans (both), Coronado Springs, Dolphin, Most of the Hotel Row, Many other off-site.
The tornado's were located in Lake City, Fl. We were there on Christmas Eve at my Mother-in Law's home up until 7:00 pm that night. It had rained from approx. 5:00 PM on until we got back home in Ga. and then continued all night. I heard about the storms and called and everyone was Good. We do know people that were in the storm. My sister worked with 1 of them and as mentioned earlier all is good. Thank the Lord.
Some of the mentioned tornados were on the west coast of Fla. but im not sure about those other than no one was hurt.
The weather was HORRIBLE. With all that rain, it looked like a HURRICANE was comming. It didn't seem like Christmas at all! It was humid and HOT. And today, what was the high? 68! Christmas should have been today. Hmph!

Two tornados made landfall in Daytona Beach on Christmas morning, one of which did so right in the middle of my campus! Luckily, I was safely back home in CT for the holidays, but my poor little Mickey Mobile (my car) was parked in a lot not far from where the tornado touched down. So far I haven't heard from campus safety, so I guess no news is good news at this point, but I still have my fingers crossed!

Wow, Don! I just can't imagine what it would be like to be there.
I feel sorry for the people caught up in the tornado and hope nobody was hurt.

I found out a twister touched down fairly close to my hometown, over in San Antonio (Florida).
