Just thought I'd pass this along. Just watching CNN and found out he's been executed.

Yeah, they broke into Numb3rs to spread the news.
And the only thing that really struck me that was wrong was that it was death by hanging....they still do that?

I just read it on the news not to long ago, its good to hear that he is dead. He was one twisted nut job.

I was also suprised that they still do hangings. Must not have moved along from that yet.

Well, keep in mind they're a different culture. I mean, hanging is a cruel thing, and no offense to anyone but, he WAS one sick dude.

In my opinion he should have been tortured. Anyone who does such cruel things to innocent people should endure the same fate.

Somehow my mind still says its wrong to praise a death. Even though he did take others. Somehow "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" keeps popping into my head.

Hanging was too good for him.

The thing that has me curious is this:

He has touted to his soldiers for years the "glory" of being a martyr. That to die for Jihad was a sure ticket to heaven. So WHY did they appeal? Wouldn't he WANT to die?

I think they decided to hang him for what he did. If you do a different crime, you get a different ending. He deserved more then a hanging..but i will not get into that.

If i heard correctly, he wanted to get shot rapid-fire by the army, but the Court wouldn't allow that, because that is for a more superior ranking? Anybody want to clarify that for me?

No matter how they did it, I am happy he is dead.

I think execution is the easy way out... Throw the dude in jail and lock away the key... but i guess its to late for that.

New Hampshire still has hanging as well as lethal injection. The state of Delaware only just dismantled their gallows in 2003.

Call it a hunch, but I can't imagine this topic staying open for much longer.
