You need to add the ".com" in that link, otherwise it won't take you to the right page. http://allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm

I've read both descriptions, and I'm not sure. Initially, I was thinking Backstage Safari. But then I read that animal viewing is limited. Plus, it's more expensive than Undiscovered Future World. Hmm...

Do they both offer AP discounts?

I voted for the AK one, cause I love the animals, but have you done the Segway tour at Epcot? I loved that one

I love animals too, but I would probably enjoy the one at EPCOT better. EPCOT is my favorite park too. GaRain, it is your choice, it matters what you like better. I would suggest making an old-fashioned Pro/Con list.

He won't win the MVP or be voted into the Hall of Fame........then again, some heroes don't play games.

The poll was Gae's suggestion. Mom thinks I should take the animal one...but it is more expensive and not guaranteed animal interaction.

I did forget the .com - didn't I? I was working from the laptop earlier and it won't let me copy and paste for some reason.

I haven't called yet, but I think you can get a discount on pretty much all the tours with an annual pass...

Sometimes in life it is hard to decide between two good options - so do them both... not at same time, but one now, one later - then it really doesn't matter which one is first...

I've done the AK Safari - limited hands on is true - the basis is education. We spent time at the elephants talking and observing, to the rhinos - and did actually get to pet one - watched young cheetahs, then over to education building for break, video, and 1 animal show/tell (chinchilla - species rotate), then to food prep area, back inside to Safari Ride - took own vehicle with naration by guide... I'd do it again but not before doing ALL the others first...

I voted for the Epcot one because to me, Walt had more of a hand in that park than AK) and I would want to try and get some type of scoop on what they will do with the Wonders of Life pavillion!

As was mentioned by others above it amounts to what you like best and ar e most interested in. If you ar a AK buff I understand the back stage safari is great ebcause of access tot he anuimals living areas ect. I'm an EPCOT nut so for me EPCOT would trump. Figure out which park you feel the msot pull towardsa and them take that tour.

We completely enjoyed the backstage tour of Animal Kingdom. Having a chance to talk to elelphant trainers and the people who prepare the food for the was really interesting. Not everyone gets a chance to pet a rhino, but it did happen to be part of our tour.

Thanks Jer! Always nice to have your input~!
The thing is - both tours sound interesting to me, and I think I would have fun on both of them.
I put up this poll at someone's suggestion, and it did help lean me to one over the other and I just called WDW and booked the Undiscovered Tour!!
I wish I could do both on this trip, but I just can't afford it.
They do have a 15% AP discount on the tour, so that was nice.
Next time I go down with the girls - we have to do the Animal Tour - ok, Jerrame? I really have to save for that trip, cause I have to stay at The Poly or some other monorail resort!
