Rain, more rain and even more rain.. South Florida has seen nothing but rain for the past week!!!

Going back for 5 free days at any Deluxe!!!
Storms with alot of wind!! Everywhere around us got alot of rain but alas we did not, we only got about 1/2 inch, so we still are very dry.
Things I have learned living in ARKANSAS1. Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air.2. There are 5,000 types of snakes and 4,998 live in ARKANSAS.3. We have four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.4. A carbonated soft drink is not a soda, cola or pop...It's a 'coke' regardless of brand or flavor. Ex...What kind of 'Coke' do you want?5. People actually grow and EAT okra!!6. Sweet Iced Tea is appropriate for all meals.7. You have to switch from 'heat' to A/C in the same day.8. All the festivals across the state are named for an animal, insect, grain, vegetable or fruit.9. You work until you are done or it's too dark to see.10. Everyone can't be an Arkansan: You have to be BRAVE to live here!

Sunny, hot, and humid. Although, at SOME point this afternoon, we'll probably have an hour or two of thunder and lightning, since it does that EVERY afternoon here in south Florida in the Summer!

when they talk about 20..30...40% chance of rain, that means it will sprinkle enough just to make it MORE humid than it alraedy is.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED AN EXCESSIVE
HEAT WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN ARKANSAS.... SEBASTIAN, CRAWFORD, FRANKLIN, LOGAN, YELL
AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES OF OVER 105 DEGREES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS FRIDAY THROUGH
MONDAY. MANY AREAS WILL SEE OVERNIGHT LOWS NEAR 80 DEGREES AS
WELL
AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH MEANS THAT A PROLONGED PERIOD OF HOT
TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND
HIGH HUMIDITY WILL COMBINE TO CREATE A DANGEROUS SITUATION IN
WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...STAY

STROKE AND DEATH. PETS CAN ALSO SUCCUMB TO THE AFFECTS OF
EXCESSIVE HEAT. ENSURE PETS HAVE ADEQUATE DRINKING WATER AND A
SHADY PLACE TO REST. DO NOT LEAVE PETS IN CARS.

It's just HOT HOT HOT... although we did get a nice break for about 7 minutes today with a quick rain. Then it just became even more unbearably humid.
