    What Not to Eat When Dining Out!

    I found this on Msn.com today. Very interesting.

    Uno's Chicago Grill:

    Pizza Skins:
    2,050 Calories (which is more then what women should eat in an entire day)
    48 grams of saturated fats
    3,140 mg of sodium

    Ruby Tuesday

    Fresh Chicken and Broccoli Pasta:
    2,060 Calories
    128 grams of fat (60-70 grams saturated)

    Why so much? It's the parmesan cream sauce and the topping of cheddar cheese before baking.

    I know it! And I have had that chicken and broccoli pasta before!! It sounds pretty healthy if you are just reading the name.

    I had the same thought "fresh" somehow makes it sound healthy! I would probably have that cake or ice cream and never even think about how much sugar/fat I was actually ingesting, it's a good reminder!

    the menu names can be deceiving. The chicken and broccoli would have fooled me unless I was smart enought to read more and see "sauce". The burger and chocolate cake...well...they speak for themselves.

    I suppose you should know better with the burger, but still I would not guess that many calories. I would not think it was the same as 5 Mcdonalds Quarter Pounders, thats for sure. I seem to think when I got to an actual sit down restaurant that the burgers would be healthier then McDonalds, not worse.

    Considering this weekend me and some friends bought 2 quarts of Coldstone ice cream, I have a feeling that will now take me YEARS to eat up the remainder of them!
