I have the recipe for the french toast from the castle
It was so yummy when we had it so I thought i'd share!!!!!!

    Cheese Danish French Toast
    2 eggs
    2 cups milk
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    Mix ingredients and set aside.

    4 tablespoons baking powder
    4 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Sift ingredients together and add to egg mixture.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

1 quart frying shortening or oil
6 cheese danish cut in quarters
    Cinnamon/sugar

Dip cut cheese danish into the egg batter. Bring shortening to 375° degrees and place dipped bread in fryer until golden brown on one side, turn over to brown other side. Roll in cinnamon/sugar and serve immediately.

    Have a Magical Day! Sharon

I made brownies in a jar for my wedding favors and they were SO good I ended up making another couple dozen jars for Christmas presents.

    1 tablespoon salt
3-1/3 cups all-purpose flour (make sure it's all purpose, otherwise it doesn't teast right)
    1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups packed brown sugar (I used light and it worked real well)
    2 cups white sugar
    1-1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1-1/2 cup vanilla baking chips (or white chocolate... I like chocolate)
1-1/2 cup walnuts (I left these out in case guests had a nut alergy, plus mom's not a big fan)

Layer in mason's jar to gift or look pretty and attach directions, or mix 'em up as is for killer brownies...

    Instructions to attach to jar:
    1. Empty jar of brownie mix into a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
    2. Add 2/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 3 slightly beaten eggs.
    3. Mix until completely blended.
    4. Spread batter into a sprayed baking pan. (9x9 for thick brownies, 9x13 for thinner ones)
    5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan.

    Tonga Toast from Ohana,

    Disney's Polynesian Resort

    Ingredients
    • 2 or 4 slices sourdough bread cut 1 inch thick
    • 1 banana
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • oil for frying
    • whipped butter if desired
    • Maple syrup if desired
    Directions

Cut a 1 inch pocket in one side of the bread slice.

Cut banana in half crosswise, then split each piece lengthwise. Remove peel and stuff 2 pieces in each pocket, again depending on size. Set aside.

    Mix sugar and cinnamon together.

Mix egg, milk and vanilla until well blended.

Heat about 4 inches of oil in a pan to 350 F.

Dip stuffed bread into egg mixture, allowing it to soak in for a few minutes.

Fry in hot oil until lightly brown, turning to brown both sides. Drain on paper towels on cake rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

    Have a Magical Day! Sharon
