Disney MOM's corner
I frequently see mom's ask for advice and mention things that they are doing with their kids, I thought we should have a mom's corner for those who need advice, have questions or just have great ideas to pass on of things to do with the kids
if you have any of the following....
1. Baby Advice...
2. Great Party ideas
3. Craft projects
4. Places to see to or go!
5. Kids recipes
or if you just want to ask a question..... there are lots of us here who would love to share our experience!!!!!
found this really cute idea on the wilton site for easter cupcakes
I think the kids would love doing and having these!
Did you get this idea from my Easter Egg question??????
I love the cupcake. From experience, my cupcake wouldn't look anything LIKE that. lol It would taste fine, just look very strange.
I have a question. I have a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter. One is supposed to be able to make them look like Mickey when frosted. Anyone have any experience with this and any suggestions for decorating these cookies. After ruining several, I opted to just frost the ears. They tasted fine, just looked ugly.
Last year for Easter I helped the kids make thumb bunny cards. Use a child's thumb to print the bunny face. Draw ears and the face with whatever simple art tools suit the age of the child.
yes, among many others over the few months!!

Not to jump the gun... but does anyone have any good Mother's day crafts. recipes, etc. We are having a little brunch here.... would love any idea.
I just did something strange.... after my daughter and I dyed our eggs ( i used the new McCormick Neon food coloring ) not a kit. anyway I had left over dye, so when she asked for french fries for lunch which we always do from scratch, i dyed a few fries each in different colors and surprised her with all different colored fries...... it was a big hit...... its give me all sorts of new ideas to try!
for mother's day i almost always take a good snapshot from my camera and make something on shutterfly as gifts for moms and grandmoms...
the other most fun idea is putting their handprints on aprons, shirts, or totebags...
OR - put this poem on a scrapbook page or heavy paper, also with handprints - it's better than anything money can buy:
Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But every day I'm growing -
I'll be grown some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away.
So here's a little handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small.
i've also made glass cutting boards with photos from this website - very nice quality and service:

Yes, those pictures show what my cookies are supposed to look like, but trust me, my Mickey cookies don't come out looking anything like that. LOL The first pic is especially attractive.
Use the cookie cutter to cut out brownies, or sandwiches, I think the kids would think mickey shaped food is lots of fun... If it is metal use it to make fried eggs inside
