hey guys
i am at a road block
i told my boss i'd come up with some new ideas for food ideas


we make anything and everything here
sandwiches to fried food and then some

do any of you guys have any combinations of food you like and think would go well there?

any of your suggestions are appreciated

I live in a small town *when not in college* and I used to work at the market/deli there...and they made a sandwich combo that they call "The Mandy" because it's my favorite..and it sounds kinda weird and gross, but trust me, it's delish!

Sandwich (on a hard roll is my fave):
Virginia Baked Ham
American Cheese
hot mustard
red onion pieces
and a dash of Red Hot

(You can add/take away stuff...make it your own)

and it comes with a side of Cape Cod chips and a Lemon Snapple..I think the whole combo is like $7.95 or something.

Ooooh man now I'm craving it and I can't have it till at LEAST Memorial Day when I come back home!

(At least I'll get it for free..that's because Bob loves me hehe)

I love portobello mushroom sandwiches, but several restaurants don't make them anymore. I also love sandwiches with pesto sauce. I had a great grilled sandwich in Scotland last year that combined both with cheese, tomato and chicken.

I am not sure where you work, or what type of restaurant you work at, but you did mention that you make different dishes.

Maybe you could create some wraps, they are great to eat, and fun to make. You can also get creative with them, like sandwiches.
You could have a Breakfast wrap- eggs, hash browns, chives, ham, swiss and/or cheddar cheese, and wheat pita bread.
A cobb Salad Wrap- tomatoes, avocado, mixed baby greens, cooked chicken, Parmesan salad dressing, and flour tortillas.

You can convert almost any sandwich into a wrap, some salads, and even little snacks.
