Ridiculous.
although, it would be funny if in the future, a former FSU player wins the superbowl, then they stick the cameras and microphones in his face..."What are you going to do now?"
Go to Universal, I guess.
I live for Disney, but let's face it...Disney is expensive! It is not really a place that everyone can afford. Some people have to save up for years just to come for a visit. I live only a few hours away and I still can't always afford to go to the parks. That's why I LOVE Downtown Disney. It's a great way to get close to the magic when I'm low on cash. Free parking & plenty of things to do. Sometimes I go for dinner, sometimes to shop, sometimes just to look around. That's why I have been so upset with all the attention in the news about what's going on there. It's becoming a no win situation. First, there is an uproar about a "lack of security." So they tighten security. Then, there are the accusations of racism when security gets tough. I'm not commenting on what's right or wrong in any of these situations because I wasn't there. I just hope that all of this recent activity doesn't cause Disney to change things too much. I really feel like DD is a gift and I'd hate to see Disney take it away.![]()

All the people will look up and shout: "Save us!" and I'll whisper...'no'.
Who watches the watchmen?
What does being a FSU football recruit have to do with anything? They were causing a disturbance and were asked to leave and never come back--plain and simple. However, since they claimed Disney was being racist (I have no idea what race they are, but I would guess probably human), Disney decided to change their mind and lessened the explusion.

Exactly, who cares if they're FSU recruits? The fact is they're 17 year old boys who were acting up in a public place and got punished for it. It wouldn't even be in the news except that one of their fathers is an attorney that saw dollar signs. They add the FSU recruit part to make them seem like little angels who would never act disrespectful to an officer, so they must be victims.
Well you know...no one ever gets in trouble from FSU.(I'm just playing. I was a Nole.) I guess i'm just wondering if DD has suddenly become dangerous or if it's just now getting more news coverage. If so, then why?

The article seemed to lead the reader to believe that the teens were just hanging out; not planning on eating, going to a movie or shopping. I don't know what they were doing that brought them under the radar of the security people, but if they were harassing others in any way, then security have my blessing of escorting them off property with an invitation to NOT return. If I wanted to be around teens with nothing to do but meet friends and hang out, then I could go to any major shopping center in the US on a Friday night. DTD is private property which the general public is invited to visit for dining, shopping and entertainment. If someone just wants to relax with friends, they should look for public park or sit in their own backyard.
