    Old Town Old Trip Report

I'm sure some of you have heard of a little tourist trap nearby WDW called Old Town, and if you haven't, well you're in for a little treat! Go get some popcorn made for this exciting trip report that was taken a few years back, come stroll down my memory lane with me, if I remember the way, that is :P

Here it is, Old Town! I hope it's the right one. It said it was next door to the world's greatest gift shop ever?

yeah, this has to be it

Here at Old Town you go visit stores to buy some things, or knives.

There's something odd about this window, I still haven't figured out what it is yet.

There's something odd about this wall, and I think it has something to do with it being able to disappear?

I wonder if Minnie can read his thought bubbles, wouldn't that be interesting

    Sit down and try it

These thing were pretty cool, but couldn't they have used better chairs for that?

When was the last time you saw a series of signs like this?

Squirrels just wanna have fun. He ran just out of the picture when I took this and he stayed in the arcade the whole time underneath the racing game. I wonder if that's where he lives?

    Virtual Jumprope. Strange.

    Feed Big Bertha. Really strange.

I was tempted to bring one of them pillows to use on this chair but I got yelled at for removing the pillows, plus the chair wasn't working then. Oh well.

Guess what ladies? It's a proven fact that I'm dynamite!

Here you can pay a buck to watch this guy die, um . . . why?

Working on the new Fun Spot Action Park with insane banked go kart tracks and other stuff.

    And I'll end this trip report off with the world's largest . . . orange . . . thing.

Wow with excitement like this, it's a wonder WDW can stay in business.
I've seen these places, but fortunately always had a better/different destination and "couldn't" stop...although my dd friend begged to stop at the orange shop. We ignored him.

Sometimes it's fun playing the tacky tourist and stopping by some of these odd places and seeing what they have to offer. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg, free parking, and the most I spent was 50 cents for the love tester. Was tempted to feed Bertha but I think she's plenty full.

O my Pygmy....I can honestly say that your trip report was also a stroll down memory lane for me as well. Although I'm disapointed that you don't have a pic of the mechanical bull or the hot dog restaurant or the 50's shop with the teal Chevy for a sales counter.
I'm about as All-American as they come!

Most of the places were closed, so I didn't get very far with this trip report, unfortunately. I also didn't dare go on the rides there, or take pics of them, they're just your typical roadside carnival rides that are scattered all over the place.

And my DH wonders why I don't want to go other places. I think this may be proof.
Maybe when we are retired and we spend months at a time in WDW. Then we can hang out there. It's a retirement goal. Guess I should add a few dollars to the fund for this place.

I haven't been there since 1986. and I don't think it's changed much from then.

Great! We'll be able to roll our scooters around together....although my retirement days are much closer than yours may be. By the time you arrive, I'll be relegated to a bench and told to "stay put".
