44 pound cat-owner lost home to foreclosure, couldn't find a home for the cat. The shelter has had 20 applications for adoptions for this humogous cat.

News from my city:

two businesses on my block have now gone under and two more are talking about it. This is getting sad. Small businesses are dying quick.

Didn't make it. Bank & gas in DD car. It looked like a white out blizzard.

Poor Gabe, the weather pattern right now is just not favorable to you guys. MAybe it will get better, we need the rain down here so maybe El Nino will bring it.

El Nino usually increases tropical activity, a good tropical storm would be great at this time. We are still on water restrictions and it is so dry I have to water my plants every other day.

Mythnusters ahs a couple of Shark Week shows coming up. I love Mythbusters and so does DD. We are enjoying shark week, fun stuff.

Where has Trickster been? Rich hasn't been on in a while and neither has Veri. Hope they are both alright.

I am waiting for the water to recede so I can get to the garage without wading, property pitches from the house downhill to garage/garden area. We have Sun now but eastern IL and N. Indiana are getting what we had. Horrible storm. Glad Adam isn't at Indiana Beach now!

I've never watched but my kids have and they love it. You must be young at heart, 'cause I don't think most old folk like me get it. Me, Disney Fact or Fiction.

I think it is summer. So many more fun things to do other than hide from the snow. Vacations seem to be gearing up too. I think, but maybe wrong but I thought Veri was moving...but my brain is crystallizing after this storm.
