Thank you, I did find a recipe on there, I may try it. I just hate to actually peel all of those peas and cook the recipe and it taste "wrong". Peeling peas is a lot of work. Maybe I can try it with frozens first.

Thanks for the google suggestion. I don't always think of that since I have a cd with over a million recipes on it, this one was not there. It involves baby red potatoes, fresh english peas and a cream sauce made from roux and evaporated milk, with water added. Tastes way better then it sounds.

English peas with baby southern dumplings and fried chicken are amazing as well. I love earky spring int he south with all the fresh veggies. We have carrots, peas and potatoes right now, fresh from the gound. MMMMMM.

By mid may, I should be able to make the once a year cholesteral loaded treat. Bacon fat, butter and canloa oil fried red skin potaotes. 1C bacon fat, 1 cup butter and 5 cups canola, cook fries as normal. OMGoodness, it is so yummy,
