Math procedures is between 84 and 90
Our District just stopped using Stanfords and now is going for units of progress. The kids are given a test at the beginning of the year, and 3 more times. It not only measures how each child is progressing each quarter, it measures how effective the teacher is able to teach each individual student. Love it!

but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Disney rocks, Walt was a genius.
Her math is a little low, glad I signed her up for Math Camp. I may need a tutor in that one, she actually is in the high "B" range. That needs to come up.

It is a Nationally Normed Test. So she is in the Above Average, top category. Out of all the tests our kids took I liked this one this best.
The schools can find a pattern or trend from year to year. If she is hitting 90 on the math she could have only got one or two wrong. So what more could anyone ask for. I tend to trust a National Test more than individual grades by teachers, too much "stuff" factors into the grading process. A bit like scoring gymnastics and figure skating.

In most public school systems achieving a 90 will put them into a gifted program or what ever label they call it. Our district uses a 95 percentile, that is unfortunate because that is often one wrong. Give me a break.

Great, that is comforting. I always worry she loves school and learning and with the teacher this year........ welll, you know. I will cease my worries and be glad she hit the high marks.
Thank you for interpreting this. DH says thank you as well.

Forth grade is a strange year. Consistently 4th graders tend to drop in National and State testing and struggle more with concepts in school.
I've heard a lot of theories but it seems to be more in their hard wiring than lack of effort. It also recovers by the end of 5th grade. I have 15 years of data and it is something about that age group and it hits all levels of intelligence. The brains hard wiring is weird. Reading stays more consistent, science and math in 4th grade just go a bit south.
