Filing and SBA disaster application is a giant headache, I now need two extra strength whatevers. i have been working on proper documents for a week, every one I send needs just alittle something more, or less, or different.

I find it highly irritating that a foreigner with no proof of who they are automatically qualify for hundreds of thousands and Regular Americans have to jump thru a mile worth of hoops. Worse, the SBA lady said foreigners get a lot more help then Americans and with a lot less headache. Funny, you would think it would be exactly opposite. Nothing makes sense with our government.

Oh well, I will see what happens. It was only about 20,000 in total damages, it was the flooding that caused the problem. My insurance refuses to cover flood damage since I am not in a flood zone, and they have repeatedly refused to sell me a flood policy-now they win on both ends. Insurance, an anlmost guaranteed for porfit business. I am having my FIL call the agents boss, they have been friends forever. Let's see how he likes that.

Three roofs need to be repaired and the carpet in my showroom could be replaced since the water line is 1/3 of the way inside, and my equiptment did NOT love having 6 inches of water in it's casing. This place sits on a hill, a high hill but the city drain out back overflowed-yep, water, water everywhere. We pushed water out with squeeges for over three hours.

Camping was super fun. It rained a bit but other then that it was fun. Band starts tomorrow at 8 am.

My friend is selling his Mercedes CL500, 2 door. It is a wonderful car you hear nothing when inside of the car. It is utter silence, no road noise, no engine noise, nothing. And it rides like floating, but with a lot, LOT of power. Wish I had that much cash on hand, and needed a new car.

It was only 67 here last night. It felt wonderful to get up and take the coffee cup out in the cool morning. MMMMM, shades af fall coming early, I hope this doesn;t mean a long, cold, miserable winter. Althugh, it is about time this area got a snowfall. It has been since 1993 if I read the weather history correctly. I lived elsewhere then.

The problem with growing up military is you get the urge to move evry 2-3 years, regardless of whether you have to move or not. I have a bad case of "I need to be somewhere new" and it does not help that this is a culturally challenged area.

We do not have even 1 sit down, dress up, grown ups only, linen and silver service restaurant here. Everything is family style, shorts and jeans casual. We have no opera, ballet only three times a year, no great concerts, no grand activities and the only real social event is the National Peanut Festival. Yep, high times.

Band Camp starts on Friday. We leave our nice little town here in OH to go to PA for a week. We have practice from 8-12 everyday. Once school starts we have Thursday night practice from 6-9, Friday night football and Saturday competitions. Band is kind of fun. A lot of work but fun.
