DD 16 was in her first car accident this morning. A college dude blew through a stop sign and smooched my SUV. DD was coming home from swim team practice.

Today, with the high price of gasoline, I kept looking at the gas guzzler and thinking, I have you why (other than it is great in the snow). Today big SUV, a lot of steel around my DD, God Sent.

Yikes! I'm glad she's okay! First accidents can be SO traumatic.

I did not have big eighties hair, or wear any of the fashions, except shoulder pads, those make a waistline look tiny, tiny. And the skinny skirts, but never parachute pants or Members only jackets.

I have a customer who wears his original 80's mullet, members only jacket, and listens to 80's rock, still wears the same 80's jeans and t's, it is funny but sad. He is really commited to his look.

OMG that sounds like so much fun and if your DH likes WDW as much as you, that would be so fun. Lights are pretty and the Osbourne ones look so pretty, nice trip you all are planning. Golf? I don't understand golf.

And Golf is why he would need his cousin, I don't get it either. A good walk spoiled in my opinion. However I've forced my kids both to take lessons. It is a business sport these days and somewhat a skill. So off to Golf camp they went.

Yes, my whole family is Disney nuts. It will be a nice trip. So many people to meet up with, it should be amazing. It will also be so nice to be with DH.
Anniversary Trip, a bit delayed but we agreed it is just to darn hot now if avoidable. We were married at 3 pm and it was l03 degrees in a cathedral without A/C. Who needs to celebrate 25 years the same way. Alone time with DH after all these years, priceless!

Thanks. She was literally shaking. She was wet from swim team practice but this was nerves. She has really been off today. Thinking she may sleep it off tonight. Can't wait for 5:45 am when she drives off to practice tomorrow. Geez. This wasn't in the parent handbook.

I did 5'2" 98 lbs. Big Hair plus a spiral perm. Burn those pictures. I came home from a spiral perm and DS 3 said Mommy you look so pretty, you look just like a poodle! Thought my husband was going to just die. I'm not a touchie person, so I laughed. Laughing is such a good trait.
Some people are just so very touchy that any little thing sets off fits. I'm not wired for drama so laughing and still laughing is so much easier.
