Our Town Swap...Sent/Received

Ok, I had Mrs. Loomis and I sent her 4 glass tumblers with different bugs on them like grasshoppers, bees, dragonflies, butterflies since Vix said she likes to garden.

Significance is that Toledo is the "Glass City" and the "Glass Capital of the World". The glasses were made in Toledo. Then I sent her a bunch of other random facts about other famous aspects of Toledo like Tony Packos, Jamie Farr, Katie Holmes, Mud Hens Baseball, etc.

I got a present today from Miss Meg in Ocala, Florida! I got a Beanie Baby Bear, tons of maps and rec guides (which will come in super handy for the wedding!) some patriotic scrapbook stickers, a patriotic windsock, a copy of Horse Capital Digest and lots of horse related brochures that I'm going to share with the therapist at my work who does Enquine Facillitated Psychotherapy. The beanie baby is a "clover bear" from my work as a 4-H agent

Ocala is horse capital of the world and pretty much obsessed with all things equine....we are only about an hour north of WDW if you get an itch to drive when you are down for your wedding - it really is a beautiful little town and I would love to play hostess...glad you got everything!

I got my goodies today from.....Deb!

I received a lovely dose of history on Virginia, especially on George Mason and Gunston Hall.

I got some brochures, postcards, a Gunston Hall Snowglobe, a VA keychain and my favorite item in the package, it's OMGoodness so cool, a authentic Goose Pen Quill with powdered ink. Now I can pretend I'm a student at Hogworts!
