Question Booking a WDW Package With 2 Rooms??

    Hey everybody,
I am in the LONG process of convicing my parents to come to WDW with me & my DGF in early feb 2009. They have never been there & after I went this past feb for the first time, it has become my mission to get them there so they can experience the magic (they have no clue). I was wondering if anyone knows if you can book a Magic Your Way package for 4 with 2 rooms. I would want to do the dinning plan like we did last time. but would we have to book everything for the 4 of us like park tickets, dinning plan & 1 room then go back & reserve another room? I read we all have to be on the same dinning plan when we go in order to do ADR together. so I'm just trying to at least figure things out for when I book in Oct. I mean they may not even go, but I figured I would ask on here, as I'm sure somebody must have gone with a group & booked 2 rooms. I booked everything myself last fall directly with disney except, the plane tickets & everything was perfect. Im hoping I can do this with my parents & make it more of a family vacation. Thanks a bucn for any help

Well it really depends on a few things...

Do you want your parents to have their own reservation number? or doesn't that matter?

I planned a grand gathering trip last year (and planning another one this year) and booked most of the rooms and all myself. I just told them to duplicate my reservation.

The easiest way to do this, is have one big group meeting and everyone with the credit card handy, pass the phone around and tell the cast member on the phone all that you have planned

    Hope this helps,
    adam

Having their own reservation # dosn't matter. Mainly I would just like for us to get an 8 day park hopper, dining plan & 2 rooms next to eachother or on the same floor. I want to book that for the 4 of us. I read somewhere that I would just book everything normal for 4 people, then go back & book an additional room. They should just let you book 2 rooms with a MYW package. I will have to look into the grand gathering. Would 4 people count as a grand gathering though? Thanks a bunch.

4 people is not enough for a Grand Gathering; you need 8 or more.

You should be able to book exactly what you need without having to go back and book another room. But the easiest way to be sure everything is handled the way you want is to use a Disney Travel specialist like Mouse Fan Travel. One of their agents will be able to handle it all and make sure you get just what you are looking for.
