Relaxing from band Camp, Write some more stuff in my drill book and practice my band music.

Today I went to class and gave my presentation on the evolutionary history of the rhesus macaque. Then I had lunch with my parents at Cafe Maspero in the French Quarter, enjoyed some Cafe du Monde, shopped a little, and came home and studied. Now I'm relaxing for the rest of the night.

Finished sewing a dress to wear to the Tiki Dessert Party. I wanted to have something Hawaiian to wear.

School junk shopping. Shoes, uniform bits, and the $100 worth of school supplies that DD has to have. This is the only time of year that shopping makes me angry, irritated, frustrated and overwhelmed. Her school is so name brand specific that some stuff can only be gotten at a teacher supply store, and some of it takes three or four stores to find. Last year, I phones around and several shops said they had stuff tha tthey did not. ARGH!!!!!!

Today I had lunch with my dad, relaxed around the house a bit, and now I'm doing laundry. Tonight I'm going to my favorite Mediterranean restaurant/bar for a friend's birthday party!

I power washed my grandmothers bench and the patio area and cleaned a statue off that I found in her shed. Then watered the plants back here at the house and now I'm relaxing.

I slept in this morning, studied a little for my final exam tomorrow, baked banana bread, and am now relaxing before I take a walk around the neighborhood with my boyfriend.

Howdy friends.

Nothing exciting on the agenda today.

No interviews, no appointments, no job fairs, no networking events. Just sitting here at my desk following up on leads, looking for connections.... doing that job hunt thing.

Only 43 days until my September WDW trip. It would sure be nice to have something lined up by then.

At some point, looking for a carrier opportunity will have to give way to just finding a job (or 2).

Got a call from a recruiter for a position in Maryland that would have been a decent fit. But I really have no interest in relocating there, or anywhere for that matter. Although, I'd seriously give a look to some place here in the midwest, say 4 or 5 hours from KC. The IT/Software Development market is extremely saturated here in KC, largely thanks to my former employer Sprint. So if anyone knows of anything, or hears of anything, hook a fellow WDW nut up!!!

Today is a lazy day for me. I slept in, did some research on medical schools, and am just relaxing for the rest of the day. Tomorrow will be busy.

power washed again today, tomorrow morning were off to the Verizon store to get new phones and plan! I'm getting a Motorola rival in purple!!

We're heading up to St Joseph, MO. Going to eat lunch at a place we've heard has awesome tenderloins in Wathena, KS, then going to tour the Glore Psychiatric Museum. Should be interesting.

Hello, today I slept in until 8a.m. then worked out. Made sauce & bbq sauce then oatmeal for breakfast, DH helped. Ran to BJ's for doggie treats & some stuff for the house. Made salad for lunch & was going to head out to cut the lawn but the thunder storms changed that plan. So email & watching Harry Potter movies so I can see the new one. Going to scrapbook our Disney vacation today. Dinner will be spaghetti, with the homemade sauce. Everyone have a good Sunday!

I slept in REALLY late this morning, worked on my medical school applications, and am in the middle of doing some laundry. Later this evening, I'll work out with my boyfriend, and then probably do a little more relaxing.
