I have a standard gift bag for baby showers. Things no one else thinks of including new moms. Extra aspirators, nasal saline rinse, infant tylenol, a certain kind of teether that helps with hand and eye coordination and is usable at abut three months. stain remover for B-milk or formula, and about 10 other indispensable things that I found thru hard experience. Also, I usually send a nicely bound notebook for each person to write tdown their best baby tip for the new mom, and their well wishes. ANYTHING to avoid actually going to one.





Ok ladies here's my story. I can have fake flowers & put a flag in it. My parents have a urn that hey mow around. But, every time I take flowers some lovely person takes my flowers. I even put a note to please leave them as they are for my parents. The cemetary has no clue. So now I buy from the dollar store & those go too. DH says they are to nice so that's why they go. Everyone else's stay. LOL I give up.

Locally, there are a few florists who have been the ones caught stealing flowers. They take them, rearrange them and sell the back to retailers and at the flea markets. I get day old (or dated) fresh flowers and take those because they are prettyfor while we are there, but don't last long enough for anyone to want to steal them. AND they biodegrade. Stealing anything from a cemetary is heinous. The one man they busted here was taking the urns, flagpoles and other nice articles like candlesticks, candles, photos frames, etc and selling them at a yardsale, one town over.

Old Navy was having a 2 for $5.00 sale last weekend.

I figured out last night that I have been wearing two colors of flip flops. One on each foot, coral pink and hottish pink. Need to find the actual mates to those. At least it is just around the house.

Had lunch at PF Chang's . IT WAS WONDERFUL!

Did you ask them why they removed their red velvet cake mini dessert from their menu?!?! Do you know how hard it is to just find red velvet cake up this way? And then to find it by someone who knows what they are doing?!?! That little mini dessert that had was very moist.

BTW...
2nd interview at Sears went VERY well - at first. Spent 45 mins. or so with the Lead Mgr. Great interview! Spent another 15 mins. or so with Lead Cashier in same meeting. Great, too!
Then they told me that they had lost my first app. and that I needed to re-apply. went to a computer in the store and did that for about another half-hour and then went to talk to the girl that was going to process it and she couldn't pull it up on the computer for some reason...
Will call me tomorrow...! :dizzy:

yup if we were selling the house they would provide a realtor, and if we didnt get what we wanted for the house they would pay us up to 75% the difference! Fly mom and dad out several times provide temporary housing and ship two cars and pack ship and store our things. very good.

no, over my mom wanting to go to the doctor after being sick for several weeks, she couldnt breath heck yes shes going to the doc weather they want her to or not. Leave several nasty voicemails and say several rude things. mom would put her two weeks in monday if she could, she cant wait:dizzy:
