Drink Recipe 'The Frozen Mongello'

Okay, so I think we should come up with a drink recipe in dedication to the times at D23 live video feed where Lou was frozen on the screen and the feed was off the air. I'm thinkin it should be called 'The Frozen Mongello'

So, I'm definitely thinkin rum should be the recipe and maybe pineapple?? Someone suggested more of a chocolate/M&M's type of base......please lend your ideas.

Maybe we could get the drink on the standard WDW drink menu if its good enough

After much deep thought on the subject, I think it should be something of a Margarita/Pina Colada type drink (the frozen part of the drink.) Base it on a pineapple or orange flavor (Dole Whip and Orange Bird Influence) and possibly add frozen jello shots to it. (the gello part.)

I think you are all on to something here. Go with it. Sounds like we need to do some taste testing before the final Frozen Mongello is decided upon.

I think a shot of limoncello should be added, first off it tastes delicious, secondly it's a tribute to Lou's Italian heritage and thirdly it kind of rhymes with Mongello

I would be willing to sacrafice my time and volunteer to do some of that taste testing

whoa! Limoncello! I don't know if it packs a punch when added to other things, but my one and only taste reminded me of lemon flavored lighter fluid. My DH still teases me about my first encounter.

I've never tasted Limoncello, but it sounds like a wonderful addition to the Frozen Mongello. So it must have jello shots, Limoncello, Orange incorporated into it somehow.

Do we have any bar tenders on here to lend us ideas/suggestions?

Thanks to everyone who will test recipes and sacrifice there time and pallettes for such a difficult task

I guess maybe it's an aquired taste, I love it but I love most all lemon flavored things. Have you ever had a Limoncello Martini.....YUM

Okay, how about a frozen orange, lemon, pineapple colada sort of thing with a drizzle of triple sec and a frozen coconut jello shot center? Fozen Citrus 'Gello

OR:

Kahlua, Maulibu Coconut, Frangelico, blended with cream and ice and drizzle with dark chocolate syrup? Toss in a Gello Shot if necessary, a nice stout mandarin Orange frozen with Tangueray would be nice.Chocolate and orange go so well together.

Wow these sound great! Lou Mongello sounds like lemon gello if said quickly enough (and you are eating a cookie at the same time lol)...dunno if that could be the gello part?

That could be made to work. Lemon jello shot made with gin or vodka, added as a shooter to a long, tall frozen something. WIth Lemon, the rest should be citrusy and light Frozen Lemonade sunrise, with granadine and a lemon jello shooter?
