What Special Connection do you have with Disney

Okay ask yourself what do you have in common with Disney for example I was born on October 9 ,1971 and Disney World was open on October 5,1971. So every time they celebrate a millstone such as 20,25,30 year anniverary etc. I will be too four days later turning that age. So I feel a really speical connection to the Magic Kingdom. So think about it wether it be the parks or characters or even the movies or whatever Disney. What special connection do you have with Disney that makes you love it so much.

I would guess my connection is more just a feeling. Life was sometimes complicated for me growing up, and when my family went to Disney, I could just be a kid, and I just "got it". And with Disney, I think you either get it or you don't. Now, I get to enjoy it all over again with my kids, and when we get there, it is like a different set of rules apply-where magic is real, fun and fantasy are everywhere, and we can ALL just have fun and be kids!

For me, I grew up with WDW.. Right around the time they dumpped the Swan Boats, we met, and we've been tight ever since..

My significant other (also known as my bf) shares his birthday with the Great One and Creator of All That is The Mouse (also known as Walt) Sorry all it is after midnight and I am tired so I get a bit bizarre at this hour of night....but anyway that is my connection....I am so jealous of him...our next trip will be on his actual b-day so we can milk it for all its worth....lol

Only 24???! You need to buy many many more to really be at the top of the Stalker/ "I'm your number one fan" mountain. May be we should have a contest - most books purchased??



As for the mural in the shed, please don't tell me that there are any sort of plans to capture me, nail me to the floor like an audio-animatronics figure, and sing it's a small world for the rest of my natural born days.

My special connection to Disney is that my house is the centerpiece for the Magic Kingdom. I allowed Walt to borrow it until I am ready to retire and move in. But that is where I will be living when I grow up.

My Disney obsession began with a research paper. Why I chose how Walt made Snow White, I will never know or I just don't remember. What an amazing feat! Still amazing. Now I just like having pictures on my screen saver and counting down til I go back.
