Favorite Wonka Candy

I was just eating a Wonka Bar loving it. What is your favorite Wonka Candy. I know it's kinda tough so at maximum choose 3.

This was actually harder than I think it should have been, LoL. I voted Laffy Taffy, I can munch on that anytime. Bottlecaps and nerds are really awesome too. :0)

Lots of Bottlecaps fans it seems, and I'm one of 'em. Really dig the cola and the cherry ones (it's been a while, but I bet I can still spot the subtle visual cues that tell me when it's root beer and not cola), and the two are really good in the same mouthful.

Can't stand the grape, which unfortunately seems to be the dominant one in most baggies. Or maybe it just seems that way to me.

my fav isnt around anymore... they were called oompas.. and i loved them! they were very hard to find.. and now there not around at all

I voted for 3 of them: Nerds, Laffy Taffy, and Runts. I gave up on Bottlecaps a long time ago because of the grape ones (which tasted, to me, like Bonine motion sickness chewables). Nerds were great because you got two different flavors, and usually they were two flavors that went well together, like strawberry and banana. I chose Laffy Taffy because of the jokes you got inside the wrappers, plus it had a really good fake-banana flavor, which is the reason I liked Runts. Runts had some really great fake-fruit flavors. Banana and cherry were the best!

Good call. That's not far off the mark at all, now that I think about it.

A fairly common item in the Halloween candy bowls used to be two Bottlecaps together, not unlike a single dose of medicine from a vending machine. Can't tell you how many of those I've disgustedly tossed aside when it ended up being double grapes....... Must've been the same luck that had me getting the same five Garbage Pail Kids every time I'd invest the quarter.

ahhh, the dreaded double grape. horrendous.

In the Garbage Pail Kids category, I always got like twelve of the same picture with different names. I always wanted the one with my name on it, but didn't get it until many years later when it was given to me as a gift. Sure enough, when I got it, it was a picture I had seen a million times before, but with different names.
