    Today only!

Amazon.com Gold Box: New Deals. Every Day.
    Hey, George!

    I did it!
    I ordered Epic Mickey.
It is my first ever video game. (Wii Fit does not count as a video game, does it?)

If I don't like it or don't play it enough, looks like I could resell it for $15-20.

Epic Mickey was my very first video game too (other than that I would play the wii fit as well, and guitar hero world tour haha). I beat it in a week (I had the week off) and it was lots of fun... so you might play it lots! After I played it my bf commented that I had gotten really good so he wanted me to play Mario- like, the oldschool Nintendo one that he downloaded onto our wii. Turns out Epic Mickey is not a transferable skill for me, and I couldn't make it past the first stinking level of Mario haha. I died 7 times in a row before I gave up woops!

Good for you Lyn. Take your time with it and enjoy the journey. It will take some time to get used to the controls. Just be patient. The game as some have said is somewhat easy but has some issues in spots because of controls. You'll see what this means in time. Right now don't worry. Just get started once you get the game.

I've run into a wall of not much free time for gaming. My snowmobile trip, busy work schedule, and two snow storms in a week have drained my time. I'm hoping by the weekend to get going again. Really.

    Haven't played in days.
Any TV time has been spent drooling over the Barrett-Jackson auctions.

No DEM time either here John. Catching up with some work things then out to buy some 2010 tax software.

    Finally finished game #2.
Cut my time by 10 hours! 29hrs 39mins.
Missed out on 2 film reels and 30 pins, ended with 2400 e-tickets.
Have now passed the controllers over to the 7 yr old.
His game strategy seems to be "get to the next area ASAP"
Forget the secrets, forget everything, gotta get through it fast.
We'll see how that works for him later in the game.
