Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Roughly every 2 years, I dig all my Lego pieces out and construct something on a grand scale.
Back in 2009, I built a Lego Theatre complete with working lights: http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s...heatre%202009/
I was gonna build another one of similar design until this new idea popped into my head...

Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Obviously it won't look exactly the same and I'll have to compromise on a few things including some colours, but I hope when it's finished, it'll look awesome!
A full set of photos (so far!) can be found here: http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s...%20USA%202011/
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
It is also gonna take quite a while to construct and will pass the winter months!
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Looks to me like you are building Main Street USA and Cindy's Castle.
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Yeah!! I don't have the room to get to the castle, but I am hoping to replicate (as best I can with the clours and pieces I have) Main Street Town Square and most of Main Street itself!
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
I have ordered a load of bricks and hopefully they'll arrive soon.
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Wow! What a project to start!
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
It's beautiful. You certainly have talent and patience.
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
OMG - that is the coolest!!! I have to share your pics with my sons!!! Have you ever counted how many bricks you have?? I always think we have a ton but after seeing your bins - we have none!!!
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Nice start. I cant wait to see the finished projected. I like the construction car in picture 10.
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Cool idea! My boys love Legos and can't wait to see the finished project.
Re: Rich's latest LEGO construction project...
Can't wait to see it finished. Do you keep them together or take it apart after a certain amount of time?

Thanks guys! I'll keep posting photos as I take them. It's gonna take some time I feel but hopefully it'll be worth it!
Once finished, i'll leave it a while before it is demolished and all the pieces put away again! it is one way to pass the winter months!
