Earthquake on the East Coast

in long island where i am you felt it very slightly but its still annoying bc thats all the news talks about now , oh and irene whoooo cares!!!!!

I am also on LI, and yes, the coverage of the Earthquake was annoying, but I wouldn't exactly brush off Irene. Right now we are looking at a Cat 2 Hurricane...Gloria in 85 was a weak Cat 1 and people were without power for weeks. We aren't equipped for hurricanes up here like they are in Florida and other areas to the south.

i care about hurricanes.. i hope its clear and no storms going on when we hit orlando in like 2 weeks.. because i dont want it to kill our trip or fly in during a storm...lol

Yeah, Irene big topic now. I work at the airport here and they are recommending any and all aircraft relocate off of LI.

Wasn't bad at all in Raleigh today...just rained all day. Can't say the same for my family up in NJ about what's going to happen in a few hours up there. Hopefully it will be ok in the end.
