Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
Sera, I would be glad to call my Senators, usually, get a fast answer from them, both are fairly powerful.
'But I think most of us are just BEYOND irritated over this FOR you, and incredibly sorry it went that way.
But stick with us, cause now I am curious where you will go. London, Thailand, Fiji.....

Ate at the upscale mexican restaurant in town today-I was NOT impressed. It is built in such a way that it is an echo chamber. So, a crowded, baby/small child filled, fathers day crowd-it was too noisy and echo-y to talk without shouting and the food wasn't that good.
Worse, we had 5 in our group and we had to wait 45 minutes while groups of 6 or more/4 or less kept getting seated. FIL was ready to leave when the buzzer sounded.

Over all, I can make better anything at home, including DH's prefered chimichanga, and DD's chicken strpis looked like they were from 1/4 of an anorexic chicken's breast. Definitely NOT worth 9.99 for her 15 fries and 4 skinny, poorly breaded chicken strips.

DH liked his gift bag of goodies. Some shorts he wanted, a snappy new cell phone case, some Axe deo and spray, some candy he likes. And his fav breakfast, and a Key Lime pie for days end.
Hope all the men on here had good Fathers Day's.

Wow, lonely here today. I'm sittin' here at work wishing the clock would tick faster, but at least I have my laptop for a bit of company.

My phone randomly decided a little bit ago that it doesn't feel like working anymore. Great. It isn't even old, just over a year. Guess it is time to upgrade to a smart phone, since I am the only person I know who doesn't have one, but I really don't feel like paying for the extra data fee that my phone bill will have now, ugh.

Tokyo would be amazing. I'd love to venture to Japan someday. One of my CP roommates, who is now my penpal, is from Japan. She has an AP for Tokyo Disney and loves it there. She has sent me a few post cards from there, but has to translate on the back what the message on the front says...because I obviously can't read Japanese.
