It got all the way up to a whopping 75 here today thanks to Debby.


Can't complain though, we need the rain SO badly, i will take chilly weather for a couple days of rain.

All the storms have missed us. Our lawns are far more brown than green and the green is bluky olive green. We have a circle of green where one of the Christmas Trees was located at, the new seed gets lots of water. The birds can hunt worms in the hard soil so they are digging in my flower pots and knocking the coco bean mulch everywhere. Hopefully they will eat the stupid earwigs.

Well, okay, true enough, but usually it is a very family oriented picture of their family structure and tonight they were talking about the way the first and second wives didn't get along at first, and the third wife was jealous (jealous and angry really ) over the fourth wife, and how they all have to work hard at the relationships all the time to keep family peace and order.

Heck, I thought they had figured out the secret to marriages and harmony. Guess not.

Gabe, there isn't anything to go and do here. Sunday blue laws-retailers close by 6PM, and the weather is too dreary to get out and go eat somewhere. Other then that, we have a bookstore, but that is 15 minutes and over with.


This area has rigid blue laws, and a lot of traditionalists, so most businesses are closed on Sundays or only open from 1PM to 6PM, anything left open is Walmart, BooksAMillion, grocery store, restaurant. That is about it.

I did do 2 loads of laundry, tidied up DD's room, and decided to go ahead and paint the wall she wants painted a medium blue, so washed that wall to get ready or paint.

it is dreary and gray and windy here. wish it would rain buckets and buckets. We need the rain, nice thing about wind is everyone's dead or not too healthy tree limbs get knocked down now, so when the BIG storm hits later in the season the debris field will be less.

FIL has offered us a condo for 4th of July week, at Panama City. From Tuesday to Sunday. Nice, DH has said DD and I can go on Tuesday, and he will come after work that day and return to open the shop for Thurs-Sat, and come back down. That would be awesome. DD and I have a great time together and that would REALLY give me a mental health break I need-before I break.

That sounds awesome. Enjoy.

I'm here!

The new honeymoon plans are: 10 days up at the Gold Coast, in Queensland (kinda the equivalent of Miami), visiting the theme parks up there. Warner Bros. Movie World, Seaworld, Dreamworld, and Wet N Wild. We will be seeing other things as well, but the parks are the main thing for us. DF has been before, but this will be the first time for me in Queensland, and visiting the parks!

5th-15th September. We're flying by Virgin Australia. I've included a map (it's driving directions though), so you can see where we live, in relation to Queensland.

SO happy that you found an alternative that you are excited about. And just think, by the end of September you would have been sad that your Disney vacation was over...but now you will still get to plan it. The planning part is always so fun.

SO happy that you found an alternative that you are excited about. And just think, by the end of September you would have been sad that your Disney vacation was over...but now you will still get to plan it. The planning part is always so fun.
