Sorry, i like to spend Saturdays with my DD, and we had to go do some shopping at The Walmart (that is what they call it here), and we came home and swam. Might only be an above ground, but a coolish body of water on a 101 degree day is okay.

it was 103 degrees here today....

But she has winter when we have summer, so when you up to the window frames in snow and ice, she is sitting in 100 degree heat.

HAHAHAHA, but this nation is having record heat. 109 in Atlanta today. 107 in Montgomery, 105 in my area.

My hand are freezing! i need fingerless gloves...

The super stores here sell a package of gloves that have 2 with fingers and one pair of fingerless. I use the fingerless variety most of the winter, smush a lot of shea butter lotion on my hands and they stay warm and the skin doesn't crack open.

About $5.00 US for all three pairs.

Sera, you mentioned moving in January, where are you moving to? A different city or a different apartment/house?



Oh, I watched Undercover Boss last night and it was Hutchinson Builders in Australia. Wanted to move over just to work with people that awesome. They have a commitment to hire gals as well, love that.

I love the babies, I love keeping the nursery and watching the babies grow and change and get personalities, but we have been in there a lot lately. I need some sanctuary time. So I hope today that there is enough help in the nursery and we get to be in church for a change.


Although, I admit I do LOVE the babies. So funny, and charming and challenging.

I do admit to a strong dislike of cloth diapers, gross. Give me a bag full of pampers and huggies.

Our lease runs out at the end of January, and we want to move into a house, instead of living in an tiny apartment. We'd be paying $400 more a month than we are now, but it will be worth it. We can have family and friends come stay with us, without it being like sardines in a tin can. Plus we can entertain, which is something we can't do atm.

I'd order a lot more online, if the shipping was cheaper. Sometimes it is, other times it isn't. I have to really, really want something from the Disney Store to order it. Since my last order, the shipping cost me $85

What exactly are grits?

Ground hominy corn, that we cook creamy (like cream of wheat or malt-o-meal) and eat with butter, or cheese, or sugar, or maple syrup, or shrimp.

basically a southern staple that if filling and cheap, but super tasty. It is loaded with cheese at fish fries.

i make panckaes some Sundays and grits other Sundays.


Gabe hates them, I love them. It is a southern thing.
