You know the sound of a bunch squirrels chasing each other through a tree?

Last night I was in our back yard and heard that sound coming from my neighbors Christmas tree that is about two stories high but the sound was on steroids.

Got my honk'n flashlight and shined it into the tree and the sounds stopped and there was a dozen sets of eyes shining and staring back at me. Raccoons. Little by little they came out of the tree plopping on the wood pile beneath and hopped the fence to the property behind my neighbors property. I still am seeing all those pairs of eyes shining on me.

Wow, I love raccoons, but was that a strange, surreal and frightening experience?

Oy. Jessie Jackson Jr. mother now speaks on behalf of her son. My son is not well and not dealing with not being a senator. Yep, that clears it up lady. Congressman missing in the mist. Only in Illinois does MIA congressman have his mommy spew gibberish to the media to muddle the waters even more.

Some people should go ahead and GET OUT of the senate. If they can't do the job, GET OUT.

Geez, every statement they make, makes the whole thing worse and worse. It has to be an addiction, but which one-drugs, alcohol, prescriptions, on call personal services, alopecia, fear of DC?

Just admit whatver it is and resign.

Hey Peeps! Lou had no choice but to switch. The old version was no longer being supported by the developer. On another forum I am on they were on the old version of this software and got hacked and they were down and out for 2 days.

Driver's Ed... That is something I do not miss at all. Good luck and hopefully it goes by as fast as possible

Its not that bad... I have a friend in my class and then there are these two kids that go back and forth... its so funny.

1. I liked the 1st one a lot.. 2nd was just okay... 3rd was terrible

3. I like 30 rock, but I don't get the obsessed fan base. I tape it and watch it, but I don't act some fans.

Brian, I am sure you know the truth of that. And I totally believe you. I think we just WISH that chat and multi quote would at least come back.

Remember it took us all a while after the Trivia/Radio changeover as well.

Most of us resist change. Me especially. I wasn't slamming Lou, just mourning the loss of favored items.

We found a snail shell in the yard. Thought it was empty and laid it on a patio table last week. Came home today and it was stick to the side of a jar, half dead snail out.

Promptly put him on a leaf, with water.

The shell was pretty, but i couldn't kill it for a shell.

Okay off for a while to let DD paint my nails. I don't like having polish on my fingernails, and I broke 5 yesterday working on repotting plants and breaking up a giant aloe vera.
