Howdydoo gang!

Just got back to the house about an hour ago...

We were wondering why the TSA was all over us like flies on a rib roast at MCO...found out after we landed in Austin when the flight attendant directed us to look out the left side of the plane if we wanted to catch a glimpse of Air Force One parked on a distant tarmac.

I won't go there.

Hope everyone here is well, I haven't caught up here in awhile. Was out of town a few days, had an interview Sunday (I think it went well, fingers crossed), and yesterday my sister turned 21 so Nate and I took her out for the night. She was the first of her friends to turn 21, so she had to rely on big sis to take her out somewhere, lol. It totally weirded me out watching my sister with a drink in her hand...can't say that I liked it too much, but I guess I'll have to get over that. Guess I inherited too much of my mom's protectiveness...oy. We did have fun though. Had the day off work today so I finally got some free time to do a few things around here and enjoy the pool. Back to reality tomorrow.

That would be odd. At least she had you to help her navigate the whole thing.

And HOORAY!!! for some pool time.

We had a really long, full of lightening, went on for hours kind of storm today. It was pretty awesome and we got a LOT of rain out of it.
The plants now look perky and happy and lively again. Rain seems to be better than faucet water. The lightening though-WOW, so much of it and sometimes it was that
half the sky kind, with 20 or 30 arms. AWESOME.

Craft Wars kind of bugs me. The hosts lipstick REALLY bugs me. But, really, some of this stuff is NOT like what a regular home crafter would ever do or use.
Wish some of these shows would use normal stuff, do normal projects. The stuff real people do.

Dance Moms was a hoot tonight. But man, the scripting is getting bad on that one. A bigger bunch of loud mouthed, aggressive, mean gals I have never seen. BUT, DD likes that show. wow.
