Random thoughts for the day:
1. I have friend who prepares his wife low fat sausages, but cooks them in butter
2. I judge people by how they treat their dogs.

Somewhere along the line someone said something to the effect that you can judge a society or a person by the quality of their mercy. That always stuck with me.

I was srong. There are two in between these that are classified differently and did not come up on a search. The one in Arizona-congresswoman, and Ft Hood.

But, other nations have bomb blasts, or worse, so as bad as it is, we still have a higher level of safety and freedom than most.

The 3 month and 4 month olds did survive with minor injuries, the 6 year old did not, and her mother is in critical.

The best concert I ever saw was a double header. I saw Chicago and the Beach Boys. I was very young and not allowed into Chicago and my Mom was out of state, Dad went to bed early. My sister at my curfew opened and closed our front door and then closed my bedroom door, so my Dad knew I was home.

My dream concert is theDon Henley (with or without) the Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. That is probably the only concert I would crawlk across glass to attend. Love both of those.

I don't know how these people get on national tv the day after the shooting and talk calmly about it. I'd be a wreak. Especially the girl who's boyfriend got on top of her and saved her life while he died.

I think it shows the resilience of the human spirit. There is one couple who get in front of ANY camera pointed at them, and some who still can't even speak of it.

Best story so far, is the 13 year old who tried to give CPR to the 6 year old. Bless her heart, so calm and poised.

So the Subaru dealership called me the other day asking if I could take a new Subaru for the same payment amount as someone else wants my car..... Um no as I want to keep the '09 & get rid of the '05. They told me to let them know when I am ready. We are looking but just test driving now. Not sure what I want.

Top two are Nissan Rogue or the Honda CRV. The Ford Ecaspe is one hubby likes but the price tag is so high. Test drove the Mazda CX-5 not enough pep. I really want a Ford Mustang but DH said no as we have to much snow for him to drive it to work.

Any suggestions?

Zues-Ford Escape has a MAJOR recall- and a few other problems. Stay away from it. Go on Google and google "Problems with__________" and see what appears.

Also, check out the Hyundai crossover and the Kia Crossover-both have Excellent records.

Thanks. I guess it is funny when people cheer for her, it comes out Go Sarah's, as both of them have the name Sarah.

I'm a big fan of swimming and diving, gymnastics too, but that one makes me want to throw a shoe at the TV, in Swimming the first one to the wall wins. Gymnastic and skating judges the worst.

I agree, there NEEDS to be some kind of fairness in that, a LOT of times it is just horrible, horrible.

My Dad offered his timeshare place, up in Queensland for us to use! I had totally forgotten about it. If Dad can get the dates we need, it will save us $1000 in accommodation costs

That's the good news. The bad news (well not bad, just annoying), is that my Stepmum has decided that she wants a few of her friends, that have been invited to the wedding, to be seated with her and my Dad. I had to re do the seating arrangements... NOT HAPPY!! It got sorted in the end, but it was still frustrating.

A friends daughter got so irritated trying to figure out seating for "this special one" for a step, and "that special one" for another-she had them all meet at a restarurant for lunch, laid the chart on the table and asked THEM to figure it out. She was nice about it, but it showed them what the issue was and hushed them up.

DF and I, had dinner at my parents last night. Which was nice. Haven't had a proper sit down meal with my family in ages (pizza doesn't count). SOO lovely to have a home cooked meal that I hadn't cooked!! Today, we had lunch with my StepGrandparents. Again, so nice not having to cook. Plus, we got leftovers!

That is great, Sera, nice to have cooked meals and leftovers that you didn't prepare.
