Oh boy! These poor ladies gymnasts. If we didn't know how good they really are you wouldn't guess they were olympians.

Back in my DS HS teen years he swam against Grevers in an invitational. Bet you can guess who won.
Later that year Grevers broke the all time HS record for free style and the house just roared in excitement. He crushed it. Such an amazing meet.
A few hours later, in California, another HS teen sunk Grevers record.

I have a HUGE issue with how they judge gymnastics. HUGE.
So irked that the top 24 athletes PERIOD don't go forward. In timed events the top 24 times go forward, regardless of country, but not in gymnasitcs. ER!!!!
Poor Jordan, she really deserved a chance.

Me too. Olympic fever is alive at my house, and I am indoctrinating DD. Watching water polo yesterday-she said-"Uh, Momma, what is the point of this game?" I told her her I had NO clue, but since Team USA was playing we would see if we could figure it out.
She now understands most of the rules. LOL.
My main event is gymnastics. LOVE gymnastics. Hate the judging. Love to watch it.
