I need a Gibson or Fender acoustic, for DD. She wants to learn guitar, but only on a good guitar that can stay tuned.


I don't happen to have the $600 ffor the sweet little solid black Gibson I found online.

I know, it's a bit disheartenin'. We get these predictions for rain, and then, there might be a smatterin' on the ground...maybe.
On the rare occassion I surf past a weather snippet on the news, they all just look like their sphincter-factor is in max retraction. They just simlpy don't know.

Gibson...VERY good...pricey...YES.

Most guitar choices for youngins' used to be just flat-out carp . Ya' got what ya' payed for. Now, they're MUCH better, but, of course, that comes with a stiffer price. To me, the quality is worth it in the long run. I can still tune with just my ear...don't need a tunin' fork, or an electronic tuner.

Funny, our local weather was showing severe storms with possible flooding for yesterday BUT Accuweather online said no rain. Accuweather wins. Again.

Both decent guitar lesson guys have said get a quality guitar with a mice low set of strings so she doesn't hate it because her fingers hurt from stretching too far for too high strings.

That said, I still need a better deal, so I am checking pawn shops in the next month or so.

Food, would be a start. When I am not sure, I toss cheese on a tortilla and

I'm a ****er for the new seasonally reintroduced Mc D's McPuke sandwich, which I went and got one of.
But, after that, I was still a bit hungry, so I melted some Swiss cheese over some ham on a plate with some garlic powder. Not garlic salt. Garlic powder, I lOVE the stuff!

Yep. On the last guitar I bought (which is now long gone and sold 'cause we needed the cash), I had them lower the action on it to my specs before I bought it. It's a personal thing that you learn over time.
Can make all the difference in your enjoyment and performance.

I am on early because I got up to check ESPN and see how bad it got in Penn last night. It had just started as I went to bed, looks like a bowser of a night for them, and I feel incredibly bad that they have so much division at this point.

I hope Paterno makes a unity statement today, to settle it all down.

The more of the story that unfolded the more appalled I was. I am actually surprised at some of the students. We have Chicago Bears feeling badly, played for Penn and stunned by the news. Yet they both stated their sorrow is with the young boys of the time.

I would take any job at WDW except food service.

Ya, that is a role I would not want. I cut so much slack for those CM's.

Car in shop, her DH worked from home all week, this morning he decides he needs to go into office and needs to leave early which he never does.
I understood her problem, it was very jolting to see before I had coffee or a shower.

They are very lively Pups and I need to be awake to keep up with them.
My tip was even better today. : )

True, most areas of food service would be okay, but after our last stay at ASMo, the food court personnel were awful, so it has to be a rotten job.

i agree asmov food court staff with the food did not have thebest attitudes or guest service skills. terrible. i complained when i did my survey. never heard nothing. i wonder if they were cps being trained? barley any of them smiled and they were soo slow. the cashiers were 100 percent better though!

Did you get the real message there? When on call and a rare day when you don't want to be on call....you now know how the Store Manager handles that situation.

Your Pawn Shop is a good idea. Try a used one from Music store or Craigslist, sometimes EBay. I payed a fortune for my DD's. I had a good children's one for her then bought her a full sized one when she was in Middle School, I think 6th or 7th grade.

She learned very quickly, much quicker than any form of dance.

Just had Pup out for his morning walk he wasn't amused with me all day, then the blizzard snow, wasn't in the mood. Boy was it windy and brisk.
