yes, at the magic. Enjoying it even though my blisters have blisters. Having to go without tennis shoes tonight, cause my feet hurt. Had to buy DD different flips, cause hers hurt.

Noemally my tennis shoes are all I need, but DANG!!! this time, boohh!!!!!!!

That is a hard age with sleep, they need so much. Ouch with the feet. I am blessed. I've never had blisters at WDW. Amen.

DD and I made another pilgrimage into Chicago via train again today, though no boat this morning as it was a bit cool in the morning in DTC. We went to investigate the PEDWay yet we were not getting the hang of it so will give it another try some other time. Not a place you want to get lost and go wrong way.

So we hopped on a bus (the right one too) and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo which is so charming. I'm a big zoo fan but normally around here we head to Brookfield, easier with the highways. We had so much fun.
The Polar Bear was giving us such a swimming and playing performance. When we walked away he was still entertaining. Oddly the Beavers were in rare form today to and swimm'n up a storm.

And what trip into Chicago is complete without coming home with a gallon of Garrett Chicago Mix popcorn?

Well the Sara(h)s are having the time of their life in London. Rode the team bus with the mens basketball team, have gone to all sorts of finals. Looks like they have are coping just fine and enjoying every moment.

I'm going to miss the summer Olympics.

Me too, Gabe, me too. Those replaced the nearly ZERO choices for evening viewing, and we got to cheer for some real underdogs. Plus, so much fun per country.


It is hysterical how many Brits are in the parks, WOW, London must nearly be empty of permanent residents. One lady today was being thankful for the heat and humidity, she said it's been a very cold summer. Poor thing was wilted an hour later at DHS and looking for where to find some coolness.

Parks have been crazy full.
