Well time to walk dog and maybe finish making new walkway and resting place for the new mega garbage cans our town says we must use. Freak'n huge. Says something about our throw out society.

Our town did the same things with the garbage cans last year. No more using your own, have to use the ginormous ones they gave us. The ones that they gave us for recyclables are enormous bright yellow eyesores. Street looks so goofy on trash day.

Maid of Honor speech- done. I wasn't looking forward to it, but it went quickly once I got started. Easy to write when you are speaking from the heart about someone. I avoided being sentimental...tired of hearing the same thing at every wedding reception, so I went a different route and it turned out quirky which I am happy with.

Now off to run errands. Wish it would warm up outside.

Orientation at the zoo is Wednesday, so hopefully I will get a steady schedule from them after that.

Good enough here, how about in your world? last you were on, you had just moved, and LOTS of changes were happening.

Things are good. We just moved back to the midwest and are trying to settle again. (Last move I think! lol) DH got a new job and we have our son who is just a ball of fun.

We have big, ugly green hulks, and dark blue recycle bins. The recycle is only offered in certain neighborhoods, though, not all across the city. They "give" you one can and if you need more you have to buy them, but the cans stay with the address they were "given" to. The cans cost about $200. for you to never own it. LOL. Cities are getting silly.

Hopefully they are fixing the issues. Yesterday the site was down a fair amount of time, maybe better filters are going on.

Chicago Teachers strike. I get the board, I get the teachers. The Mayor being obnoxious not helping. Seems to forget we are a free society and our leaders are not dictators. Someone needs to put duct tape on his mouth if the goal is to settle that strike.

Rumor is he will be the Democratic nominee for Pres in 2016.

Left TDS early 'cause the SM's conference call was cancelled, so I've got a little time before my 6-close at bore central.
Which is a fine by me, 'cause I drew on the computer 'til midnight-ish and then was back at it again at 7a. Got everything finished on time and sent and all was great , but I can use the downtime even if it's only a coupla' hours.

I'm sorry Nicholas. It will be a rough week for some of your family members and likely for sometime for your Aunt and family.
Were you close with the Uncle? I get the hiding from the drama of it all while it is unfolding. Sometimes kids can't say or do anything right when turmoil hits. Process and take your cues from your folks as what they want or need this week. My advice is to stay the heck out of their way as they do what needs to be done, chip in around the house and do what you can for them, be on your utmost best behavior, try to keep sister occupied. Hate times like this, it throws everyone into a tissy.

Well he was my bads brother and saved his life when he was little. So with out him i would not be here. I like you Gabe because you are always funny and you know the right thing to do thank you for your post.
