It was blonde when they bought it and they paid $50 to the furniture store to have it darked before it was delivered in 1953.

It is gorgeous, all dove tail constructed drawers and all hardwood pieces.

I had a feeling! We all kept it the blonde color! I am lost at who now has it in the family!

Dd's silly cat was not thrilled with the new bed at first.

As soon as the body pillow he likes went back on, he was okay. He was laying on it, feet up in the air, head to one side, like a dog looking for a belly rub. Crazy cat.

How funny, this a.m. I woke up today Chip was laying between DH & I on his back with his head next to mine.

I would settle for winning a lottery, and skipping ahead to the travel and fun part of life. (reward for the 7.5 yearsof heck)

Hi all, walked puppies this a.m. Then ordered my new Passporter guide for Nov. trip. Worked, over as didn't notice the time. Also had a customer ask who she could compliment me too. That was so nice! Came home to dd at kitchen table doing her homework so we had a nice dinner together. Now catching up on my shows.

Maid of Honor speech- done. I wasn't looking forward to it, but it went quickly once I got started. Easy to write when you are speaking from the heart about someone. I avoided being sentimental...tired of hearing the same thing at every wedding reception, so I went a different route and it turned out quirky which I am happy with.

DD and I are at the kitchen table as well, she is doing a greek mythology paper, and I am playing her greek music for inspiration. You tube is pretty great.

WE have gone from Beatles, to disco, to southern rock to celtic to greek.

Well time to walk dog and maybe finish making new walkway and resting place for the new mega garbage cans our town says we must use. Freak'n huge. Says something about our throw out society.

When bf neighbor moved out they left a huge trash pile..... The new owner got the violation.... Crazy. Why can't it just be easy!
