I used to dream about flying ALL the time. In planes, flapping my arms, etc.
Not nearly as much these days.

Tattoos that are harder to remove after three years and if they are on feet or legs.

A young couple with a coupla' small children came into TDS the other day. They were all tatted up.
She had one arm, from shoulder to wrist, with a vine design on it. The other arm was nothin' but thick raised scars were it looked like vines had been. I was wonderin' if she had plans to have the vines on the other arm removed.

You can now have an eyebrow implants if you plucked too much earlier in life. $8000.00

I'd have to go without.

A Mom was arrested and spent night in jail for allowing her 6 and 9 year old play outside on scooters unsupervised for child endangerment. Mom sewing police and neighbor who reported her.

Can't wait to hear more. My folks would have been in jail too. Heck I rode my bike to and from school at that age.
Wonder why children sit in front of a TV too much, this might be it.

Is there any word on whether or not the children were wearing helmets?

Yep. Could be.

here, 12 is the age at which they can be home alone after school or for short periods of time.

If there is more than one child, do they all hafta' be 12, or can a 12-year-old watch younger ones?

We baby sit at that age up here.

I used to. My younger brothers, anyhow.

LOL, poor animals. We have woods all around and still the foxes and wolves are up close and personal. Neighbor had to smack one with a RoundUp bottle.

Have seen several armadillos and possums in the yard-ick. Skunks, not so much down here.

Deer, armadillo, possums, skunks and squirrels are pretty much the main ones around here. Although you don't generally see the skunks as much, unless their splatted in the road. And even if ya' don't see 'em, you can sure smell a dead one layin' just off the side of the road somewhere.

We have one about 20 minutes from us that does stuffed french toast, it comes with the same toppings, almost a perfect copy to Kona's Tonga Toast. Price is duplicated too.

I prefer my french toast savory. Nothing sweet on it. But, of course, in a pinch I'll eat it any ol' way.

A high school in Northern Illinois will close for an entire week starting on Monday and offer up volunteers and their parking lots to the PGA Ryder Cup golf tournament. An elementary school is forced to close. They didn't plan being off for two days however 'cause the road to the school is going to be shut down for the tournament.

The high school will receive $160,000 for parking spaces from the PGA and an additional $240,000 for supplying 475 volunteers a day while the tournament is in their town.

This is why the Chicago school strike for a week or so didn't bug me so much, these kids are out of school to accommodate golf and $$$$.

I don't even know what to say to that...
