Re: The RT Thread Part V

Took me 20 minutes to drive 4 blocks on the way home from work today. I could so do without Chicago traffic for the rest of my life. Over three hours of driving time total to and from work. That really tacks a lot onto your day.

I work the early shift this Wednesday and Thursday, which I am thrilled about 'cause I will beat all the traffic. Down side is that my alarm will be going off at 4:30am, but I much prefer that than getting home so late at night like I have been.

Every time I think about, or work, on this project I think about Soarin', since the PGA West golf complex in La Quinta, CA. is where the "Palm Springs" scene in the attraction was actually shot...!

By happenstance, was off from both retail gigs yesterday. Got to sleep in a bit, and then worked on the La Quinta, CA. residence pretty much at my own pace during the afternoon/evenin'. Then, the whole famn damily finally got to go out to dinner together for the first time in quite a while.
Had my meeting with the partner this mornin' on the project and he loved what I had, so far. We made some of my suggested tweaks based on the reality of my actual to-scale iteration. Took a short break after the meeting and then went to work on those tweaks. Very happy with what I've got now. Pretty sure he will be too!
Glad to hear that you got a full day off. And yay for your project going well.

    Hi Amanda!

But, excuse me for a bit, please.
Evidently some folks here have not had such good happenings lately, so I feel I need to take some time to go back and catch up...

    Thanks!

Maybe I don't need to go back.
What have I missed about Gabe and family?
I just haven't even checked in in the last few days...

They're all so adorable and have their own quirky personalities. I feel like the past 5 days have really reinforced that I know that this is what I really, really want to do as a career.
So very happy for you! That is the most awesome feeling, isn't it?!

Even though it's back to the 12+ hr. day grind tomorrow, I've been a bit rejuvenated by the last coupla' days.
Now I can handle it, as always, even better...!

Wow, well, DD was one of the small percentage who got chicken pox from her grandfather having shingles. They both like to sit in the same upholstered chair, apparently the shingles on his head, left enough virus for her to get the pox.

It is amazing how restorative even 1 full day off from a physical location is.
