It's 50 degrees here now but in Nicholas land it's 80 because i have Shots and T-Shirts on. Even in DEC i'm doing that if i'm just at home all day. I know i'm odd but you can't get rid of me.

We sometimes have 80 during our winter outside. We have a few weeks of 50ish weather, sometimes a few freezes, but 60ish is our winter mid.

And warm, shorts and tanks days are common.

Sorry, nicolas, busy few days here. We have had work, after work activities, and church, and household stuff.

I spend Wed night, thurs night and some of Friday, getting everything done, so that I am fre to chill some on Saturday, or work on other projects. Like finishing the one dresser, and ironing uniforms, and cooking meals.

DD had a church event from 630PM til 8PM. Then we went to the game. Got there at halftime, and we were losing. After 2 quarters of very intense play and very, very, very dirty play by the officials, we managed to win.

They pulled our guy down by his facemask and we got a 15 yard penalty.

we intercepted the ball, and started running, the refs threw a flag and gave them back the ball with no explanation. We intercepted again, they called a dead ball, gave it to them on the original scrimmage line-zero explanation, just bloop!

Their player picked up a dead ball, after the whistle, and threw the ball on the ground and refused to pick it up and hand it to the official, our guy ran the 20 yards, picked it up and handed it to the ref.

Their coach walked onto the field, no calls against that either.

These had to be some of those replacements. They were just that bad, we got over a hundred yards of penalties and only 40 were valid, even by the other teams count.

refs apparently really hate private schools.

But it was a super exciting game. Super, lots of cheering, booing the refs, jumping up and down, more screaming. Whew, a mrathon would be less wearing.

Well, Steve is working 2 jobs and doing house design before/after that.

Gabe must still be dealing with a sick parent. That can be very trying and time consuming.

Sarah teaches and coaches so she has grading, coaching, games, church activities and a social life.

McKayla stays super busy with senior year stuff, cause the memories from Jr/Sr year get you thru tough times in college.

Brian-I don't know where he has been, but he works and has to oversee spammers all over the entire site.

Gae-teaches, doing her doctoral thesis, has kids at home, one at college and a lot of stuff to do with them.

Rich works many shifts and posts when he can, but at different times from us.

Sera-just back from honey moon, settling into a new house and new life as a wife. Plus, she is awake when we ar asleep. Aussie, aussie, aussie, oy,oy,oy.

Zuesy-just super busy with life and a lot of northerners are.

Minnietoo-super busy with all she posted above plus she manages two stores and helps keep up with Steve. LOL

So, this time of year is just super busy for everyone, but as it gets colder it will pick back up.

Hopefully, some of the gone members will come back and start posting. Or not. I miss a few members that have gone inactive here for whatever reason.

Some great, great humor disappeared. But it is what it is. Circle of life and all.

I miss the thread being super active, but with all the changes and loss of feature like mulit quote and the chat here (easy to beep into for a quick chatter) plus the spammers froma few weeks ago, lots of folks just got disgusted.

DD's first kids church pastors just moved from here to Manchester UK, to work thru RBTC/UK. They flew over Wednesday, located housing and have already attended some sessions. They are loving it so far. Tea central for a delicate lady who loves her daily tea times.

I would need a wheel barrow after a month there, scones alone would fat me right up. i love, love, love a well made scone. With butter, or heavy cream, mmmmm.
