Where'd she go???
Yesterday I watched while walking the Pup an ambulance and the police car pull up to a home closing in on dinner hour. Little kids in that family and the Dads truck wasn't in the driveway yet. I can see from down the road the sheriff go in and the two ambulance dudes, shortly an engine from another district arrived. As pup and I walked closer my stomach fell as I see Mom's SUV flip the corner and into the driveway and fly into the house.
Who knows who was in there with the little kids but that has got to be one of Parents worst nightmares to get a call like that. I continued to walk down the road to our house and about half way home from there and the ambulance halls tushie past me. Haven't been able to shake that feeling something went really wrong in that home.
Don't know how you guys compartmentalize.

Thanks guys. We're doing alright for now. We're headed up to where the family is tomorrow. I'm sure there will be more tears in the next few days.

Annual Passholder
DH left for his work trip this morning. Off to Melbourne until Saturday, and completely paid for by work. He gets put up in a nice hotel, meal allowance, buffet breakfast and during the day they get to tour the city. It's for an awards night. Happens every year, but in a different location. No partners allowed
Aaand he left his phone in the car by accident, so if I need to contact him I have to call one of his work mates. *sigh*
I have the cat for company, and the first KK arrived 2 days ago for me, so you know what I'll be reading!!

My mom lived in Melbourne for a while when she was a kid. She's always wanted to go back. One of these days when I strike it rich I'm gonna send her....

KK a good distraction. Funny how dependant we've all become on cells. How did the kitty do with the move and while you honeymooned?DH left for his work trip this morning. I love Melbourne. So much culture! Fabulous food, fabulous shopping, and fabulous entertainment!! Can't wait to go back. I was there in January, and I found this great little Mexican restaurant. Dying to go back and eat at this place again!!
You should both come over!! I'm only 8 hours by car from Melbourne
