Today we listened to types in band of what the judges have to say and one was like " Oh there is a young flute lady in the back with a walking boot... bless her heart. Good job to her for keeping up." The band laugh pretty hard for like 5 minutes

Just heard back from the partner that gave me the La Quinta, Ca. project.
The clients love it, so far!I still have elevations (exterior design) to do, but they were really pleased with the floor plans, and the partner was very happy, too...!
I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter.

Yes, it was DEFINITELY one of the coolest things I've ever done! Although, it wasn't a hang glider, it was like "Soarin'"X1000, 'cause it was actual flyin' in a very open, very small aircraft.
At one point, we even did a low fly-by down the runway of another small airport that he sometimes flies out of.
Pretty cool wavin' to the folks on the ground as we buzzed by at about 20ft. off the ground!
I have always wanted to, and maybe someday still will, get my pilots License, but I don't happen to have about $17K (yep, that's what they told us was pretty much the goin' rate, these days) layin' around...!
Anyway, yea, It was AWESOME!
