Happy Monday all.

It is freezing here in South Alabama. burr. Don't like cold weather, and certainly was not ready for a 40 degree morning.

We were suppose to have homefeild advantage but we had really bad refs last week and called all these dumb calls on our team but the other team did like no wrong...One of the plays the other team had a total of 5 downs

We have two ref teams that seriously hate our school. Like, really H-A-T-E our school. They make bogus calls, and ignore stuff right in front of them for the other teams-seems like three schools we play are their favorites. The crosstown rival school? yeah, I think they pay the refs to help them. This game only had about 10 really bogus calls in their favor to give them field advantage two times. But our guys know it is going to happen, so they play harder.

I love that my ticker is now less than a year... Before I know it, I'll be booking MNSSHP, MVMCP and many ADRS!

Why not? LOL, there is no "upright and functioning" in my world without coffee.

my work was able to close after my immediate boss called the district boss telling him that the state police were closing down the highways at 1:00pm. and even then he really didn't want us closed. He finally relented and I got home before the roads closed

That's crazy! If the roads are closed it's not like you'll be getting any business and keeping open would be a waste of money, but that's my opinion.

Sounds like your district boss needs to watch a newscast. Good grief, does he not grasp that the storm of Year is happening?
Glad you got to go home though. Sounds like a perfect excuse to eat grilled sandwiches and soup and then sleep for hours and hours.

That's crazy! If the roads are closed it's not like you'll be getting any business and keeping open would be a waste of money, but that's my opinion.

It would also be a serious safety hazard for the emloyees and any rescue personnel that would have to go and get them if there was an issue-say a robbery (opportunistic crime) or if the wind blew out the glass, etc.

Sometimes, corporate folks fail to consider the larger issues.

It's beautiful outside here, although it's very cold. I know it won't last once the remains of Sandy reach us.
